Welcome to Hens Lens Productions! As you scroll through, you'll find that visual storytelling has been a lifelong passion that I have explored dynamically over my 16+ year career in India, the UK, and the USA. While I started as a TV news journalist, I found myself more invested in exploring and developing the creative potential of a story. That creative drive soon drew me into the realm of docu-dramas, unscripted shows, short films, and even saw me create and produce content for some internationally renowned media brands such as NDTV Lifestyle, History (A+E Networks), CNBC (JV with Network 18), Times (JV with Reuters).

After gaining a fair amount of experience leading content teams in creating non-fiction properties for TV and Film, I made the bold move to fiction, which brought me back to America. Some recent films that I produced have received recognition from more than 45 American and International film festivals, including Oscar Qualifying Cinequest Film Festival, Canadian Screen Award Qualifying Worldfest Houston, Big Apple Film Festival and Screenplay Competition, Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, qFlix Philadelphia, Nevada Women's Film Fest, The Poppy Jasper Film Festival, Arizona Underground Film Festival and many more.

I am also passionate about creating both scripted and unscripted factual entertainment having worked as an Executive Producer on 24 TV shows which were broadcast on TV in USA, India, and Dubai, and streamed globally on OTT platforms. I am an alumna of Chapman University's MFA-MBA Producing program for Film and TV, George Washington University's Documentary Center for Documentary Filmmaking, and St. Xavier's College for English Literature.

With an entrepreneurial mindset and a creative spirit, I am always on the lookout for an opportunity to realize the potential of an idea. I am particularly interested in championing women-led content with socially relevant themes and impactful stories told through an authentically female lens.
