Kripa Susan Koshy is a Broadcast Executive and award-winning Short Film Producer who recently received producing awards from Florence Film Awards, Milan Gold Awards, Hollywood Gold Awards, Global Film Festival, IndieX Film Festival and Zonta Club of Newport Harbor. She has produced numerous short films. Prior to that, Kripa was the Showrunner/Executive Producer (EP) on multiple seasons of 24 Food and Living TV shows that have been broadcast on cable and satellite TV to an audience of more than 3.5 mn in the USA, Canada, UAE, and India, and digitally to an audience of  over 100 mn.

Kripa's TV and Digital Show EP credits include “Fit Foodie” with Michelin Star Chef Vikas Khanna, "Chef and Beyond" with actress and celebrity host Amrita Raichand, “Pure Sin” with Masterchef’s Shipra Khanna, “Sunny Side Up” with Chinu Vaze, “Health Challenge” with Saransh Goila. Kripa has also written, produced and directed promotional videos for renowned CNBC and History Channel shows including “Swamp People,” “Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads,” “CNBC Meets,” “America: The Story of Us,” “Sliced,” and TV Documentaries such as “102 Minutes That Changed America,” “Manson,” and “Extreme Marksmen” which have been broadcast on CNBC-TV and History TV18 with a reach of 50-100mn viewers in India and Asia.

Some of Kripa's more recent producing credits have brought her success in the International Film Festival Circuit. "Home," a narrative short, received a Remi Award from the Canadian Screen Award Qualifying Festival, Worldfest Houston International in 2020. "Flu," was an official selection at Academy Award Qualifying, Cinequest Film and VR Festival in 2021. "Flu" is currently being distributed on Roku through RevryTV. “Aurora,” an LGBTQ narrative short that Kripa recently produced has been an official selection at many renowned international festivals such as Fort Lauderdale International, Cyprus International, Big Apple Film Festival and recently won an award for Outstanding LGBTQ film at Nevada Women's Film Festival. It is currently being developed into an anthology feature, “The Voice Within.” Kripa also produced a documentary short, "Released to Life," which was honoured by the Mayor of DC and SnagFilms as Washington DC's Best Film 2012.  It was later distributed on the same exclusively docu-focused streaming platform.

 

With 16+ years of global experience developing and producing narrative and non-fiction content, Kripa has led creative and production teams for Film, premium News and Documentary Channels, Food and lifestyle TV, and Digital Media networks, and has also helped medium-sized companies at crucial stages of growth, to more than double their scale of video production. This, while boosting product quality and diversifying content, effecting rapid increases in ratings, engagement, and brand partnerships. Kripa recently completed her General MBA and MFA in Film & TV Producing from Chapman University, where she earned an invitation to join the exclusive Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society. Since then, she has taken on more senior job roles and is currently working as a Senior Content Director for a startup digital media company leading 8-10 teams of 40+ content creators, directing content development, strategy, programming, operations and distribution across various digital channels. She also serves on the board of the Alliance of Women in Media's Southern California division as a Director-at-Large. Kripa is always looking to partner with both established and emerging Film and Media brands/creators to help achieve their creative, content development, acquisition, and distribution goals.
